    MATERIALS

    Along with precision components, Omniseal Solutions provides high-performance materials that are included in the top tier of the polymer pyramid. 

    Rulon® Fluoropolymers: We are the only source of authentic Rulon® materials since its creation in the early 1950s for industrial use. Available in hundreds of formulations, the material has been made into bearings, piston rings, cup seals, and wear components for other industries: aviation, space and life science. Technology advantages include low coefficient of friction, high wear life, chemical inertness, and extreme temperature / pressure properties.

    Hycomp™ Composites: Including H310®, H320® and Wearcomp® solutions, these carbon fiber materials are mainly used in applications that require high temperature resistance, mechanical strength, or superior wear resistance. Up to 50% composites by weight are used in aircraft and helicopters (wings, landing gear doors, and structural elements). This material is also used in industrial and heavy machinery: canning, extrusion and forging.

    Meldin® Polyimides & Thermoplastics: Our versatile, polyimides are used in aviation, industrial, semi-conductor, space, and life science. Softened and cooled into a hard piece, it is made into bearings, wear components, piston rings, thrust washers, seals, rods, sheets and tubes. This unique process is reversible and can be repeated. Unlike thermosets, our thermoplastics are insoluble after curing and perform without external lubrication, extending part life or reducing weight. 

    PFAS-Free* Materials: Composed of different materials such as UHMW-PE or PEEK-based resins, these unique polymer materials are specifically formulated to meet the technical needs of challenging applications and/or industry regulations (* PFAS-Free here means we do not intentionally add PFAS material in the product, but does not exclude the possibility of traces, as these materials are common in the environment).
